The showers are usually clean enough and the water gets nice and hot, which I think most customers would appreciate. It can get a little busy at times, but overall they do the job well

"Solid gym with mostly well-maintained equipment"
I’ve been going to PureGym for a few months now, and overall it’s been a good experience. The machines are generally in decent condition, and most of the equipment is fine to use. Every so often a treadmill or cable machine is out of order, which is a bit annoying, but to be fair they usually seem to get it sorted fairly quickly. It would be nice if things were checked a little more regularly during busy periods, but all in all, it’s a solid gym and I’m happy enough training there

A lot of the machines seem to be out of order often, and the weights just feel kind of cheap and worn down. I also didn’t love how the staff responded when I asked about it — it felt like I was being talked down to instead of just getting a helpful answer

"Does what I need it to"
I mainly use the PureGym app to see how busy the gym is and to scan in at the door, and it’s been solid. It opens quickly, it’s easy enough to find what I need, and booking classes is straightforward too. The design maybe isn’t the most exciting in the world, but that doesn’t really matter when it just works. No real problems so far, which is basically all I’m after.

The billing has been spot on every month. I haven’t had to chase down any weird charges or deal with surprises, which makes me kind of regret not using them earlier.

"Never really stuck waiting for machines"
There’s loads of equipment, so even when it’s busy I’m not usually standing around waiting. It just makes getting through a workout way less annoying.

"Got it sorted faster than I thought"
I had an issue with my membership charge and wasnt too happy at first. Support got back to me really quickly though and fixed it without making it a big hassle. All good now, thanks.

"Surprisingly friendly staff"
The staff are actually really friendly and easy to talk to, which you’d think would be standard but apparently isn’t everywhere. I was a bit nervous when I first joined, but they made it feel relaxed, showed me where everything was, and didn’t make me feel ridiculous for asking basic questions. The gym does get busy sometimes, because of course it does, but the team are still smiley and helpful. Overall, really nice vibe.

I’ll give it credit for the location, it’s really handy for me since it’s close to work and easy to get to. But depending on my mood, the crowds can make it feel draining. It gets quite busy, so overall it’s okay, just not somewhere I get excited about.

I used the place later in the day and felt safe enough. The entry gates were working fine, and the lockers seemed secure to me, which made it easier to relax and not overthink leaving my stuff there

I’ve been going to puregym for a few weeks now and the entry code thing is really convinient.
No waiting around for staff or messing with a card, I just type the code in and I’m through. It’s worked every time so far, even when I’ve gone late at night.
The gym itself is decent too, but the easy access is probaly my favourite part. Makes it simple to just pop in whenever I’ve got a bit of time.

"Good value for the price"
I’ve been going to puregym for a few months now and, for what you pay, it’s decent. It’s got all the basics most of us need, and the opening hours make it easy to fit a workout in around work or other plans. Like a lot of people probably find, it can get really busy after work and you might have to wait for some equipment, but overall I’d say it’s still worth the monthly cost

"Surprisingly well stocked with cleaning stuff"
I’ve been going a few times a week, and to be fair, they do a decent job keeping the cleaning spray, wipes, and hand gel topped up. Not every gym manages that, somehow. It makes it easy to give the equipment a quick wipe before and after without making a whole thing of it

"Pretty chill gym overall"
I’ve had a decent experience here so far. The atmosphere is usually relaxed and people mostly just do their own thing, which I like. It does get a little crowded after work, so you might have to wait for some equipment, but it’s still a solid place to get a workout in. Also, the music isn’t blasting, which is a plus.

It stays nice and cool in there, which is great. The air feels fresh too, so I’m totally fine, totally relaxed, definitely not obsessing over how hot it could’ve been otherwise.

"I really like that I can stop..."
I really like that I can stop in early before work or go later at night if that’s the only time I have. It just makes it so much easier to stay consistent, without feeling like I have to rush or... yeah, way less stressful.

Most days I can find a locker without any trouble. Peak hours can be a little annoying though. Not terrible, just busy. Overall, convenient.

"Joining was quick and easy"
I signed up to puregym online and, yeah, it was mostly simple. The steps were clear and I got my PIN code straight away, which was really handy. It did take me a minute to figure out the right membership option, but nothing too annoying. I would’ve liked a bit more info about some of the fees before paying, though. Overall, it was a good experience and I was in the gym the same day.
